HOC: Celina Trump Layer

This is the first part of the trump I'm working on for Celina, showing her head and shoulders in closeup.

Celina is the daughter of Moire and Corwin, and has the green coloration of a Rebman. I've been thinking about her trump to go in the HOC series, and I found an image I liked for a headshot layer, so I decided to see what I could do to make it green.

I took a trick or two from Arref in working on this trump layer, doing the skin, hair, lips, irises, whites of the eyes, and teeth all in separate layers, turning all of them as green as I needed to and whitening the eyes and teeth by desaturating those layers.

Working on this layer, which will see some filtering before it appears as a part of the final trump, has provided me with quite a bit of practice in working with the Magic Wand and the Extract tool/filter in Photoshop.

I don't think it's perfect by any means, but the flaws in the extraction should be covered up by the filtering for the final Trump. The layer is sized at 300x450 pixels, to fit inside the Trump border, which is 350x500 pixels to provide a 50-pixel border around the central image. I use that as a standard size so I can reuse some of the images later in other trumps if I want to.
