Bloody Grievance: Cultural Clash

Another thought about 'Bloody Grievance' below :: the cultural clash, aggravated by common language, is also more importantly amplified by the amazing longevity and success of the Courts of Chaos. The very extraordinary success of the Courts against the poor "dweebs" of shadow has ill-prepared the Lords for the kind of contest that is staged in 'Bloody Grievance'. In-game we used the American colonials and British Empire example for the battles fought in this first contest between Chaos and Amber. In fact, we might have used some of the conflicts the British got into in Africa or India where the assumption of savagery blinded the more civilized foe to the actual strengths and powers of the savage enemy.
