WISH 69 :: any game?

WISH 69: Non-RPG Games for Gamers Recommend three non-RPG games for RPGers. Why do you recommend these three?
Ah, games...

First I would recommend Clue. The mystery is fun, the house is fun, and making variant rules is fun.

Next I would suggest Pinochle or another game of cards where you have to partner with someone to triumph without really speaking or planning it all. It really is a great way to pass time, and isn't so demanding of memory if you are just playing for fun. Poker has some of the same excitment, but I can't play it unless I adopt a 'character' and make it more whimsical. Whimsy isn't the way most folks enjoy Poker.

Third is the game of Lawn Croquet. Why? Nothing beats conversation and 'personality' during gaming. Or elegant poise during competitive play that inspires witty repartee.

Prince Julian is smashing at Croquet.
