Fantastic Four-some

***Dave :: The Incredibles is ... er, are!
The enthusiasm shines here for a film much anticipated.
Jack takes it a step further with words for the Fantastic Four movie already being made:

And be warned, you who are making Fantastic Four, that the bar has been set really, really high. You do not want to be thought of as a second-rate Incredibles rip-off, but you'll have to work very hard to avoid it. Get cracking!

Isn't artistic competition a wonderful thing?
Three cheers to Pixar for blending good story with good art.
But I'll still wait for the DVD to come out.

Doyce has this Haiku review:

Take Expectations
Double them. Raise them. Hope. Pray.
This is still better.

You all won't likely feel this way about Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith

"But I'll still wait for the DVD to come out."

That's a mistake.

No nature makes it a senryu. Both types of poem have the exact same syllable structure. Cool though.

I'd also agree that this, like everything from Pixar, really needs to be seen on the big screen to appreciate just how good it looks.

Not that it looks bad on a TV screen, but you inevitably lose some of the tiny details that they are so very, very good at.

I did not wait.
And they were right folks--this is the year's best movie.
