shadow as a journey, less a destination

Behind the Scenes: I'm just wondering...

I very much agree.

This time around at ACUS, I'm setting up a few of my games to spend time traveling and interacting with shadow. That notion may flop if players are all about arriving instead of 'interacting.'

As noted here (in the Shadow of Greatness: ...these aren't the shadows you are looking for) and here (in the Shadow of Greatness: IMC :: that's just... WRONG), I'm all for getting more of Zelazny's journeys into the play experience.

I'll report back on what experienced players end up doing with the two games I'm trying at ACUS.
