Everyone in the noble circles of Amber knew that Family Karm was trying to oust Family Chantris from the top spot. Chantris has retained that top spot for now. How? It appears that Duncan Chantris, a son of Chantris and former Captain of the Palace Guard has been promoted into the inner circle of the King's advisors. This boosted Chantris' reputation enough for now. However, the challenge is still there.

Again, let me stress that a companion is not necessarily a lover, but they can be lovers. A companion is a person in a close public or semi-public relationship with the other person. It invariably means they are seen in each other's company a lot of the time.
This post is merely a test to make sure all items are properly lined up, all i's are dotted with the right dots, all polkas are played accordingly, and that the potion in the flagon with the dragon is the potion that is true.
