After I posted a few posts last time here, no one commented. I figured that no one is reading this. If someone reads this, please leave a comment here or on LJ to let me know.
In one of my last posts I mentioned that I picked up the 4th edition starter box for D&D. I have since picked up the three main books, The Adventurers Vault and one of the adventures. The adventure wasn't that useful to me, but I rarely enjoy using published adventures. The books have been nice and I have been running a 4th edition campaign for a while now. Currently, the PCs are 11th-12th level and are travelling through the planes in the "dark ship" that travels between worlds on the "Shoreless Sea."
I've also been trying to run some Savage Worlds one-shots lately. I find the system is easy for one-shots as it is a quick and fun system to learn and play. It is also a lot quicker to prepare games for. It is certainly in my top 5 favorite game systems of all time now.
I am currently starting to brainstorm games to run at ACUS 2010. I have a few ideas and will keep folks here posted if interested.
