D&D: Eberron
WotC gave a a preview of their new campaign setting, Eberron.
It sounds neat and I'll probably check it out. However, it really bugs me because I didn't hear about this contest until after it was over and Eberron sounds a lot like what I pictured myself submitting when I did hear about the setting: A setting that mixes classic D&D races and monsters with the tone/feel of Bloodshadows (my favorite RPG setting) and Final Fantasy VII. If I had hear dabout this contest in time, they could have picked my version.
Well, I guess I probably wouldn't have written it well enough to win anyway....

This web site has been collecting information on Eberron from magazines and the web. The more I hear about WotC's new setting, the more it seems like Final Fantasy, but in a good way. I've been saying for years that a new rpg should come out with a final fantasy-derived setting. I even started working on one with a friend.
