Pre- cryo: Definitely Dark Force heavy. Enjoys, that is; derives intimate pleasure, from his work. No recollection of his youth, indeed, only vague memories of the few days prior to his meeting The Old Man.

The Old Man found in Banor, aside from his species natural Force resistance, the abilities used to, shall we say ... tie up loose ends. Banor discovered his passion as a result. And as long as The Old Man supplied the Dashade with work, the relationship thrived. Or at least Banor's respect for The Old Man.
