Concept: 'Anakin done right': A Pilot and Gearhead who stayed that way, even after becoming a Sith. The passion of his work comes through with every gesture, with every look, with every maneuver and every creation. Passion is definitely a driving force for Gareth.

I had a dream image of the burning eyes of some other PC, regarding him in the dark. I don't know who, or why, but it was that particular image that convinced me that I should do *this* character.

Gareth's basic idea is a Corellian pilot/mechanic whose passion and artistry for his work was recognized by a Sith, who realized that energy could be channeled productively for Sith ends. Possibly he was recruited far away from Corellia, perhaps when he found himself isolated, alone and vulnerable enough to be approached.

He never has risen high in power in the Force, possibly because Gareth couldn't be stopped from his love of piloting and tinkering for anything.
