Character Design

Primary abilities for your character are four attributes.

  • Gear: represents your affinity for equipment, machines, science and technology.
    Chewbacca and Han have a high Gear rank.
  • Body: represents your fitness, toughness and affinity for combat.
    Leia and Mace Windu have a high Body rank.
  • Mind: represents your affinity for intuition, meditation and art.
    Yoda and Ki-Adi-Mundi have high Mind rank.
  • Force: represents your connection to and your potential with the flow of the Force through the universe. Most characters will have a Light and Dark rank as part of this attribute. Usually, the useful rank will be the higher number. At times, characters in Light/Dark balance can use both ranks together.
    Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker have high Force rank.

Each PC has 13 points to spend. You assign the points across the four attributes. Each rank of point value doubles the dramatic effectiveness. Humans have from 1 to 3 points with 1 being average. Any rank above 4 costs two points for each additional rank.

Average humans have a Force rank of 1 or less and are built for 6 points. An Attribute of zero rank is feeble: limiting and substantially below average. Rank below zero is incompetent.
