Well, exhausting is a good word. Good is also a good word.
Exhausting, in a good way.
I got home last night, ate dinner, and went to bed. In bed by 6something. Up at 6:02 am after an enormous thunderclap that Jeff woke up swearing was an earthquake. The ground did shake for a good minute. All the local car alarms went off.
Vegged around trying to wake up. Filled out my FAFSA. Took shower. Made breakfast. Jeff went to work - I went back to bed. Slept 2 more hours.
I can't really blame work for all the exhaustion. Some of it is doubtless caused by stress about school interfering with ACUS, about all the tons of stuff I need to get done this weekend for school and ACUS, about the CLEPs I need to take I've been ignoring.
My body has been rebelling against me a bit. Getting a little sick and forcing me to rest. Stupid body.
So now I'm awake, but still dead tired - all my limbs are heavy kind of tired. Must go out to the dollar store for some things I need. I also want to go to old navy, but I fear taking Fiona into the store with me - I always end up spending my money on her instead of me, but I need Jeans for Work and this is Birthday Money.
Ugh, and someone has to go grocery shopping this weekend. Jeff works today and tomorrow. Sigh. I hope I get a kick up of energy.
Posted by Liz at March 20, 2004 3:07 PMWe heard that thunderclap out here, even. It woke both of us up.
Posted by: jenn at March 20, 2004 9:20 PMWow. Is that possible. I did honestly sound like a bomb had gone off next door. It was terrifying.
Posted by: Liz at March 20, 2004 9:30 PMThere was one when the system when through here that literally had all the windows vibrating. Couldn't go back to sleep for a while.
Posted by: Kris F. at March 21, 2004 5:23 PMCompletely unrelated question... Liz, what is the name of the guy who tends to always sign up with Jeff for my games? I can see his face, but I've *completely* blocked on his name, and it's bugging the hell out of me. Do you know if he is coming to the con? he isn't in any of my games, and it is such a bummer.
Thanks!

I'm glad you are enjoying your new job, btw. :)
