I Work At Borders Books!

So, today employees got 40% off. I'm very sorry I didn't drag any of my friends in to buy things for them but
1- that would be unethical.
2- I could hardly carry my own load.

I just blew through $150. I'm done Christmas shopping for Fiona. Hopefully we can get her grandmother to buy her another cheapo CD player.

I also got:
America (The Book)
Two Susan Johnson romance novels.
In Camelot's Shadow by Sarah Zettel, an author I am forever running into at local cons who moves in one of my circles, so I figures I should support her and read something.
Wicked (The CD made me have to read this book.)
and Jane Lindskold's, The Dragon of Despair.

And what am I starting with?

A romance novel - because you've got to love a romance novel that opens with a ménage à trois.

(Well, I did check out the naked Supreme Court Justices in America. That was painful.)

I just read Zettel's "A Sorcerer's Treason" (as I mentioned on my blog). Please do convey to her that I really liked it.

Romance novel with a menage a trois? This isn't your mother's Harlequin!

Actually, there were 3 women in the bed with our hero. 3 - count them, 3. Our heroine also has enough birth control and toys in her lingerie drawer to freak our hero out. Love that.

Susan Johnson writes the romance novels I should be writing.
